Who we are.

IWRC is a grass roots, community-based resource centre that is dedicated to working with women and families, Since 1984. IWRC's office is in Gimli, Manitoba. Counselling and programs are available to all the communities within the Interlake region and beyond.

We recognize Family Violence doesn't end because of a Pandemic. IWRC continues to be here to help and support you with counselling and resources through this uncertain time. We continue to Monitor the COVID-19 Virus government updates daily.

We cannot accept non monetary donations at this time for the safety of our staff and clients

IWRC is Open however, we are not open for public entry. All face to face programming and face to face counselling services are suspended until further notice. One on One Counselling is still available via phone call sessions. If no one is available to take your call, please leave a message with your name and phone number and we will return your call.

The Interlake Women's Resource Centre is also still providing information and referral by phone and/or email. Please note: emails and phone calls will be returned within 1-2 business days as we try our best to connect with all of those in need.

If you require: Hygiene products, or forms please call 204-641-1464 to make an appointment for pickup during regular business hours. Someone will package up what you need and you may pick up outside of Centre.
