Amanda Pickett

Hello! I came to Ivy Tech way back in 1999, and I truly feel that I have found the place where I’m meant to be. I have served as both a tutor and an instructor here, and I enjoy working with students in mathematics, chemistry, psychology, and music appreciation.

I attended Earlham College, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics with an education focus.

I am married to a chemical engineer, and we have two children. Our family is passionate about science, math, music, and board games.

I love working with students who tell me they “hate math” because I am determined to help them change their minds!
