What is ROP?

So what exactly is ROP? It's a unique set of classes that University High School students have access to for FREE before they graduate.

Coastline ROP is a program that provides free career technical education courses for high school students in five school districts in Orange County: Huntington Beach Union High, Irvine Unified, Newport-Mesa Unified, Saddleback Valley Unified, and Tustin Unified. These courses take place during regular school hours or after school. The classes are in 13 of 15 Industry Sectors and provide students with hands-on learning experiences and a variety of classes, from introductory courses to internships, and some courses offer students the opportunity to earn industry certifications. Students earn high school elective credits and certain courses are articulated with local community college programs as well.
