Journal Prompts
HERE is the journal paper we will be using in class. Please have your child turn in his/her journal on Friday. If you have paper at home that you'd like to use instead, that is fine.
Week of: November 3: We are learning about biographies. Write a biography about someone in your family!
Week of: October 27: How do you get ready for school? Remember to start with an opening sentence, and give the sequence of events using first, next, last for your 3 supporting details. End with a conclusion.
Week of October 20: What do you do when you get angry?
Week of October 13: We talk a lot about self- regulation at school, and Clark the Shark practices too! How can you self regulate to calm yourself down?
Week of October 6: Write about something that makes you unique.
Week of September 29th: Why is it important to be honest?
Week of September 22nd: Write about what you do in the morning to get ready for school.
Week of September 15th: Write about a safe choice you can make at school.
Week of September 8th: Write about a rule you have at home. Why is this an important rule?
