Hello! I am a Curriculum Specialist with the ARIN Intermediate Unit 28, and my focus is on Math instruction. Prior to taking this position with the IU, I taught in the public school system. I was an emotional support teacher, and have experience working with students that have social and emotional needs from elementary school through graduation. During my teaching career, I had the privilege of co-teaching math classes for grades 3-6, and teaching 7th grade math to students with a wide range of skills and abilities. Although I have some experience with teaching Language Arts at the elementary level, I have found that I absolutely love teaching math. I am hopeful that I will be able to reach even more students in my new adventure with the IU, and through support offered to teachers in our districts, help these students find a love and understanding of mathematics as well.
