Freewheelin' Community Bikes (FCB) provides accessible bicycles and teaches youth life and leadership skills that improve their physical and mental well-being.
FCB connects youth with skills for life over a shared passion for the bicycle. Youth gain hands-on mechanic skills while learning social skills that help them navigate their lives at home, at school, and in the community.

Role overview: Work alongside bike shop staff members to establish a marketing & promotion plan for online bike shop sales. This internship will include online research, data collection & analysis, marketing, website management, and content creation.

Pay: $8.00/hour

Preferred majors: Computer Science, Business Administration, Computer Information and Technology, Computer engineering, computer information technology, and biotechnology.
Essential role functions:
Executes online content creation tied to product and promotion uploads.
Works with Director of Retail and Operations to implement changes, new features, and bug fixes
Facilitates online store settings and maintenance tied to products and promotions
Manages online product catalog, adds new items and maintains database
Develops creative ideas and improvements for site content, enhancements and site functionality
Helps execute online marketing strategies & promotions
Corrects issues on the site via ecommerce tools
Executes, documents, and improves site operations and processes
Technical acumen for working with and troubleshooting online systems and tools
Assists internal stakeholder with new site launches and major feature changes
Stays informed on new digital solution trends and contributes to digital strategy development.
Demonstrates ability to complete multiple tasks under pressure
Qualifications:
Willingness to learn bike mechanics and sales

This role will be beneficial to students studying computer science.
