Lecturer, Mathematics
Director of Math Learning Center
Indiana University

Hi, welcome to my webpage! Currently, I am a lecturer in the mathematics department at Indiana University, Bloomington. I am also the director of IU's math learning center. Additionally, I serve as a member of our General Education committee to review and redesign our GenEd curriculum and pedagogy.

My research is broadly in algebraic topology and homotopy theory. I finished my PhD in mathematics in 2022 under the supervision of Dr. Michael Mandell from Indiana University. My thesis deals with finding THH of the second Morava E-theory spectrum. More concretely my research interests include algebraic K-theory, trace methods, stable homotopy theory, configuration spaces of graphs, and polyhedral products.

As a lecturer and math learning center director, I constantly experiment with math pedagogy, interact with big classroom full of non-math major students and train our graduate and undergraduate instructors in active learning math pedagogy techniques. As an educator, I aim towards mathematical learning and thinking in a socially thriving environment in my classroom.

Aside from my current works, I have been a data analyst intern in the past.
