My Resume
My experience spans public speaking, digital communication, PR and marketing efforts, training material development, recruitment, project management, leadership, and written communication. I have led projects in marketing, healthcare research, served as president of a national organization chapter, and developed communication strategies for a university department.
After graduating in May 2025, I aim to secure a full-time role where I can continue to thrive in my passion for communication and contribute to organizational and stakeholder success.
"In my junior year of high school during the pandemic, I started a fashion and positivity account on TikTok under the name "Marlee Hepburn". The brand I created amassed 50,000 followers on TikTok alone. I worked with companies like Makeup Revolution and YesStyle to sell products to a refined target audience. While I stopped making content in college to focus on my studies, this experience as "Marlee Hepburn" brought to light my natural aptitude, developed knack, and unique flair for communication work."
For as long as I can remember, I've always felt the most fulfilled and content when I am writing. I lived for anything that allowed me to showcase my love for writing and communicating -- from independent creative projects, school endeavors, professional work, and even participation in local organizations, my hunger for working in comms at some capacity has always been insatiable. Ever since I first could write, I knew this was something I wanted - no, needed - to do for the rest of my life.
My passion for storytelling began in elementary school with stapling papers together to make "books" for my classmates, acting in local theatre productions, and creating scripted videos with my toys on YouTube. I carried a notebook everywhere I went from elementary school up to high school -- everyone knew me as the girl with the notebook. So much so that I was voted "Most Likely To Become A New York Times Best Seller" during my senior year! While my peers do flatter me, I am confident in my writing ability.

Through the years, I have further evolved and honed my skillsets in writing, public speaking, and producing creative content with more refined and recent experiences like internships, leadership opportunities, and intensive coursework. The values that are integral to me - empathy and dedication - are infused in everything I do and will continue to guide my choices while I navigate emerging as a professional. I seek opportunities that will allow me to flourish in my strengths and demonstrate my passions as well as values while continuously working on areas of growth.
I served as President of PRSSA at IU Indianapolis from 2023-2024 and am an active member of the National Communication Studies Honor Society, Lambda Pi Eta. I am pursuing a BA in Communication Studies and a minor in creative writing.
