2022 E.C. Moore Symposium

Call for Proposals due December 5, 2021

The IUPUI Center for Teaching and Learning and LEAP Indiana seek proposals from instructors teaching at higher education institutions across Indiana for the 2022 E.C. Moore Symposium on Excellence in Teaching. A key component of the symposium is the communication and sharing of new ideas in teaching and learning. We invite proposals for three types of sessions — interactive, micro-presentations, and TED-like talks — addressing your latest endeavors in teaching. The 2022 E.C. Moore Symposium will be held on Friday, March 4 on Zoom.

We welcome Teaching Practice and SoTL works focusing on improving and transforming student learning, academic success, and curriculum in higher education. Presentations that focus on take-aways related to teaching and learning during the COVID-19 pandemic also are welcomed.

Ball State University's Division of Online and Strategic Learning, Office of Inclusive Excellence, and Office of the Vice Provost for Academic Affairs are pleased to announce the 2022 Provost Faculty Summit taking place virtually on February 17-18, 2022. Our keynote speaker is Dr. Cia Verschelden, author of Bandwidth Recovery: Helping Students Reclaim Cognitive Resources Lost to Poverty, Racism, and Social Marginalization.
