As part of the JLN program, I volunteered with Lynhurst 7th and 8th Grade Center in the summer. In my teaching blocks at IU Indiapolis, I participated in field experiences at Arsenal Technical High School and Fall Creek Valley Middle School.

About Me

I am a senior at IU Indianapolis pursuing a bachelor's degree in math teaching. I participated in the JLN program, along with various student teaching opportunities.

The JLN Experience

Jaguar Leadership Network [JLN] is a program that financially supports students while they learn about leadership, networking, and engaged learning. The program teaches students about what it means to be a leader and has several opportunities to strengthen networking skills. Students learn how to market themselves professionally by improving their resume, describing their professional experiences, and getting practice talking to employers. The program also incorporates an Engaged Learning Experience in which students volunteer in their own respective fields in order to gain valuable knowledge and skills relevant to their career paths.

I'm passionate about helping students reach their potential.

I enjoy learning and teaching math content, as well as academics in general. I hope to help other students improve their deductive thinking and problem solving skills, so that they have a good foundation for any career.
