Dear Student Athletes and Coaches,

A warm Leopards Welcome to the International School of Uganda.  We hope you have a great experience engaging with  members of the ISSEA school community.  

While tennis and golf are generally individual sports, the importance of learning from and together with your teammates and all athletes is a vital part of the experience.  We challenge you to meet someone new, to talk with them about the sport, share tips and strategy and leave a better athlete than when you came.

The last time we had an ISSEA Tennis and Golf tournament was in April 2019, hosted at ISU - we are excited to be welcoming everyone back after this long delay.  The courts are ready, the greens are green and we are looking forward to a few record breaking hole in ones!

Congratulations to all the athletes for the dedication that has brought you here to Uganda.  We hope you have a great experience, and the team at ISU is here to support in any way we can.

Welcome to ISU! 

We are so excited to host ISSEA Tennis and Golf 2023 and welcome you to Uganda and our school community.

At ISU we Learn, Connect and Contribute and ISSEA tournaments provide wonderful opportunities to learn and develop new skills, connect and collaborate with other athletes from schools all over Africa, and to contribute to our school communities and spirit through competition and sport. 

I wish each of you an inspiring and enjoyable tournament and I hope that you strive towards your personal goals as athletes, that you build friendships and connections with others and that you enjoy being in a different school and country for these few days. Above all have fun and make the most of all the opportunities you have during this ISSEA Tennis and Golf 2023 tournament.

Dear Student Athletes and Coaches,

A warm Welcome to ISU to all ISSEA participants and supporters.

ISU Leopards are very excited that this ISSEA closing season is bringing Tennis players and Golfers from all ISSEA sister schools to Uganda. The teams are ready and the stages are set. While over 55 young Tennis players will compete on clay courts at ISU, the Golfers will be walking the lush grass of the Serena Golf course. 

After three years, The Pearl of Africa is ready for all ISSEA members to be reunited one more time and to compete against one another during the day and celebrate success, friendship and fair play in true ISSEA spirit.

I am looking forward to seeing you all very soon!
