Evaporation and transpiration exceeds precipitations. Often surrounded by mountains.
C. Moist Subtropical Mid-Latitude Climates

Warm and humid summers with mild winters. Winter includes mid-latitude cyclone, with thunderstorm happening in the summer.
D. Moist Continental Mid Latitude Climates

Warm to cool summers and cold winters. Average temperatures of the warmest months are greater than 50 degrees Fahrenheit , with the coldest months being less than 22 degrees Fahrenheit. Severe snowstorms, strong winds, and bitter cold in the winter.
E. Polar Climates

Year round cold temperatures. Not seen in the mainland United States.
H. Highlands

Unique climates based on elevation. Usually in mountainous terrain where elevation causes quick climate changes.
