SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
1. All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another conference or journal. The following categories are welcome:
Paper presentations (20 minute presentations)
Poster presentations
Themed Panel presentations (90-minute presentations)
2. Abstracts (of 260 words) must be submitted here.
3. Abstracts must contain the following information:
Full title of paper
Five key words
Author/s name/s and affiliation/s
Bionote/s of the author/s
Digital file with this label format: SURNAME_PAPER TITLE
4. Only two submissions are allowed per author, provided that he/she is principal author in one, and a non-primary author in the other.
5. Papers must fall under any of the following sub-themes:

About the Organizers
The Linguistic Society of the Philippines is the premier linguistics organization in the archipelago. The organization aims:
To strive for the advancement of the scientific study of language, including basic research, particularly on language in the Philippine context;
To engage in research and participate in discussions that inform language policies;
To publish and disseminate the results of original scientific studies undertaken and to communicate with organizations within and outside the Philippines that are also engaged in such pursuit;
To conduct training programs on language and language related topics both at pre-service and in-service levels locally and nationally;
To hold conferences at the local, regional, national and international levels in matters relating to linguistics, language education and their allied disciplines; and
To encourage the participation of members of the society at local, regional, national, and international seminars/workshops/meetings/conferences on linguistics, language, and language education to broader their insights and promote their professional growth.
