Accuracy: hitting a target
Balance: being able to keep the body in a steady position
Boundaries: The imaginary line that determines the space you are allowed to work in (cones, or tape or line on the floor)
Catch: receiving and holding onto an object with hands, feet or other implements
Chasing: going after something or someone
Cooperation: working together
Distance: how far an object/person goes
Dodging: changing directions so that you don’t bump into objects or people
Dribble: your hands or feet are using small hits to move an object down/across an area
Endurance: how “long” you keep moving
Fleeing: moving away from something or someone
General space: the space that everyone shares
Heart Rate: how fast or slow your heart beats
Kick: using your feet to move a ball or object
Locomotor skills: Locomotor skills move us from one place to another. (hop, skip, run, jog, walk, gallop). (SPARK ,K-2 vii)
Movement concepts: levels, pathways, tempo, directions, relationships
(relationships: over, under, around, thru, on, off, in, around…)
Muscles: pumps blood and makes your body move
Non-locomotor: Skills performed without moving from space to space, bending, stretching, pushing, pulling, twisting, raising, sinking, etc.

Partners: two students working together
Personal space: the space you are standing in and can reach to without moving your feet, such as bubble/helicopter
Physical changes: how your body changes when you are moving (sweat, breathing fast, heart rate)
Play 60: play for 60 minutes, (You can play 3 times for 20 minute increments or 2 times for 30 min increments or other combinations of times)
Respect: how you treat others and equipment
Strength: how much you can lift or do
Striking: using your hands, feet or other implements to hit an object and make it move
Throw: using your arm and hands to move an object
