Mr. Priom Saha is a lecturer in the Department of Applied Statistics and Data Science, University of Dhaka. Previously he was an adjunct lecturer at the Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, BRAC University, Bangladesh. Currently, he is teaching Statistical Inference II,C Programming, and Statistical Computing IX (Inference; Multivariate analysis) in ISRT. He taught Elements of Statistics and Probability (STA-201) for bachelor students in different sections for Spring 2023 and Summer 2023 in BRAC.
Mr. Saha has completed his BSc and MSc in Applied Statistics from the University of Dhaka. He has interests in public health that include biostatistics and causal inference. He has already published several research articles in international peer-reviewed journals.
Mr. Saha received several awards including the DU Dean's Award of Academic Excellence, Govt. Honours Scholarship in Talent Pool Category, Dhaka University Alumni Association Scholarship, ISRT stipend 2017, 2018, Sarothi Scholarship, NST fellowship-2022, Begum Rokeya Sakhawat Hossain Best Teaching Fellow Award etc. Also, Mr. Saha has been awarded as Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib scholar-2022 in the field of Mathematical science in Bangladesh. Mr. Saha along with Prof. Dr. Jahida Gulshan has been nominated as DHS Fellows 2024.
Mr. Saha is a research enthusiast and a big admirer of scientific collaboration.
