Course Description
How are Legos® made? What happens inside a Coca-Cola® bottling plant? Who organizes the logistics and distribution of thousands of mobile toilets to construction sites and festivals across Prague (and how do they do it?)? This experience will take you across the Czech Republic to a variety of businesses to learn how operations, finance, marketing, and human resources function within a variety of firms both big and small. We will meet industry leaders and experts and go behind the scenes to see how things get done. You will come away from this trip with a greater understanding of how businesses work, and hopefully inspired and encouraged to start your own.
The Challenge
The challenge of this experience is to create a business plan for a small business of your choice.
This experience counts towards the Creativity strand of DP CAS.
