SECONDARY CURRICULUM EVENING

YEAR 7 -BAGS
Dear Parents of Year 7,
A list of books needed for each lesson has been collected and posted on the Homeroom pages in classwork on Google Classroom. The list includes which textbooks are available online to reduce the weight of your child’s bag as their “master copy” can be left at home and the online version used in the lesson. This is a working document and will be updated as the year progresses.

ART FESTIVAL 2021 AUDITIONS:
We look forward to sharing with you an exciting new piece of theatre, specially written for our students here at ISM, whether this is live in person or via an online platform.
Now is the time for any student, from classes 4 - 13 to sign up to audition! Auditions will be submitted by video (deadline: Saturday 17th October). There are speaking and singing parts available. If you would like to audition for the show, please complete the following audition:
Secondary:
SONG 1: Footloose (chorus only and choreography to be included in audition)
SONG 2: Cool Kids
Monologue: (drama text)
All of the lyrics/texts, videos and backing tracks can be found on the class HOMEROOM page. Printed copies of the lyrics/texts can be collected from the Primary/Secondary 7-9 Reception and the Secondary 10-13 Reception.
Meetings will be held during the week of Monday 19th October to talk through rehearsals and to give students copies of the script, etc. Weekly rehearsals will start after the October break.
