Focus on healthy habits in Primary assembly
Mr. Coote shared some very useful tips for staying healthy in this week's Primary assembly: exercise regularly, eat healthily, breathe deeply, and, of course, get plenty of sleep. Don't forget to go to bed a little earlier this weekend - the clocks are changing and you will lose a precious hour of sleep otherwise!
Primary School “No Uniform Day” Fundraiser
As we near the end of term, the Primary School is organising a “No School Uniform Day” to raise money to buy some new equipment for the playgrounds. Students will be allowed to come to school in their own choice of clothes on Friday 2nd April - but they need to earn this privilege beforehand!
Each student has been given a Chore Sheet with examples of chores to complete at home:
Instructions:
Starting on Friday 29th March, students should choose (at least) one chore each day for 7 days. When a chore has been successfully completed by the student, they should colour in the relevant square.
Once the final chore has been completed and coloured (on Thursday), we kindly ask parents to give their child 5€ - this should be put in an envelope with their child’s name and class on it.
Students can then come to school on Friday 2nd April with their money and in their own choice of clothes!
Another imaginative and fun activity brought to us by the PTA!
On the afternoon of Tuesday 6th April, the Primary School students will have the pleasure of engaging in a creative Easter activity. Students will each be provided with a plain white ceramic Easter Bunny money box and they will have the opportunity to decorate it with colourful marker pens. These can then be used all year round to save up for a special treat. Perhaps some students will even use it to save up their spare copper coins, ready for our annual Copper Coin Collection next year!
The teachers and students of the Primary School would like to thank the PTA once again for their enthusiastic and tireless efforts to make our wonderful school even more amazing!
