Palestine Massive Protest Protest in Washington D.C

Rally for Justice: No Cease-Fire, No Votes

WASHINGTON, D.C. - In a historic event that echoed across the globe, over 300,000 protesters flooded the streets of Washington, D.C., demanding an immediate cease-fire in Gaza. Organized by prominent groups such as ANSWER Coalition, this colossal demonstration marked one of the largest pro-Palestine gatherings in American history.

Advocacy in Action

The rally, named "No Cease-Fire, No Votes," carried a powerful message to the Biden administration, urging an end to aid to Israel and a resolute call for peace, especially in light of President Biden's recent approval of a $14.3 billion military aid package for Israel. The ongoing airstrikes in Gaza, akin to an open-air prison, have claimed nearly 10,000 lives, with a significant toll on innocent civilians, including children.

The protesters, representing diverse backgrounds and affiliations, united against violence and oppression, demanding an immediate halt to the tragic loss of life. ILIA, in alignment with its commitment to nurturing responsible youth leaders, actively participated in this monumental event. The collective aim was clear: advocate for justice, human rights, and an end to the devastating bombardment of Gaza.
