Welcome to a summer filled with learning, growth, and adventure at ISKL! We are delighted to present an array of enriching opportunities tailored specifically for our middle and high school students during the upcoming summer break.
In collaboration with renowned organizations, ISKL is proud to offer specialized programs designed to cater to the diverse interests and passions of our students. These programs go beyond the traditional classroom setting, providing unique learning experiences that foster personal development and skill enhancement.
Students will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of engaging programs, including:

⭐ Real Madrid Foundation Youth Football Clinic
⭐ Inspirit AI, an AI education program developed and taught by Stanford and MIT graduate students (Grade 8 - 12 only)

Inspirit AI (week 1 only)
The International School of Kuala Lumpur is offering an in-person, pre-college, project-based artificial intelligence program through Inspirit AI, an AI education program developed and taught by Stanford and MIT graduate students this summer. The program will run for 10 sessions of 3 hours each in summer 2024. Inspirit’s team of Stanford alumni visited our campus to lead an immersive AI project-building program in summer 2023, and we are excited for them to return.
Students from ages 13-18 will learn the fundamental concepts of AI and gain a deeper understanding of how AI is used to build ChatGPT and generative AI, fight the COVID-19 pandemic, power self-driving cars, and more. Students will learn to program AI using Python, discuss ethics and bias within AI, and complete a group project applying AI to a discipline like healthcare, astronomy, finance, among others. No prior computer science experience is required to participate.
Date: June 10 - 14 (5 Days)
Time: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Program Fee: $1,600 USD
Prerequisites: Students in grades 8-12. Beginners are welcome, and advanced cohorts are available. Students who participated last summer are eligible for a more advanced program.

The HMC Young Global Leaders Program (week 1 only)
ISKL is hosting the in-person HMC Young Global Leaders Program by the Harvard Model Congress. The 5-day program will bring together exceptional mentors from the Harvard Model Congress to engage, mentor, and inspire students.
Spread over 5 action-packed days, the mission of the HMC Young Global Leaders Program is to indulge school students with strong leadership potential in immersive learning engagements, discussions, and mentorship. The program will focus on leadership, problem-solving, communication, public speaking, and critical thinking while working with students toward a final ‘Actionable Project’ under the guidance of student mentors. These skills are essential for tomorrow’s changemakers and future leaders.
Students will work in small groups throughout the program on an impactful ‘Actionable Project’ designed to tackle real-world problems, stimulate ideas for future collaborative projects, and mold young learners into future leaders.
Students earn certificate from Harvard Model Congress
