16 September 2024: Updates on the Final Registration Process Due on 18 September.
To Everyone Who Already Submitted Their Participant Interest Form:
Thank you for your interest to participate in this event! In order to finalise our guest list, please submit this form to confirm your attendance by 11:30 AM on Wednesday, 18 September 2024. Your response will be captured in the spreadsheet that will be given to our Security Team at the Front Guard House and to our event organising team. Please kindly note that if your name does not appear on the spreadsheet, we will not be able to admit you to our campus. Therefore, every participant, both students and teachers, must submit their individual response, even if they are from the same school. We will then send an email to confirm the receipt of your response.
*All participants are asked to bring a laptop, smart phone, or other device to access workshop material through our guest Wi-Fi. If you have any questions regarding this, please contact us.
The dress code is smart casual. School uniforms are optional. Please adhere to the 'smart casual' guidelines for school/ business meetings: Shoulders and mid-riffs covered, appropriate-length trousers, shorts, and skirts; proper foot wear, etc.
Registration is between 7:30 - 7:55 AM on Saturday, 21 September 2024. Please arrive early in order to start promptly at 8:00 AM. Morning refreshments will be served during registration.
Thank you very much for your cooperation and we shall look forward to meeting you at the Summit!
During the Pre-Event Registration and Orientation, participants will have a chance to meet each other, be briefed about the goals of the Summit, and identify the focus areas (e.g. in terms of the UN SDGs that can be grouped together, pressing global issues, etc.) that can be addressed by a collaborative project during the Summit on Saturday. Ideally, the collaborative project pitch groups can be organised by the end of this session.
The day will begin with a presentation by Mr. Aaron Moniz of Inspire Citizens to ignite every participant's desire to design a practical and beneficial collaborative project pitch. There will be a sustainability campus tour and collaborative work time based on the participants' Service & Sustainability focus area (ideally determined during the orientation on Friday). Then the participants will choose one workshop to attend that will best serve their project pitch design. After lunch, participants will collaboratively complete their project pitch and share their work to learn from each other.
