The S&S Youth Summit is an avenue for like-minded, altruistic high school students in Kuala Lumpur and its greater area to share experiences in Service & Sustainability activities drawing on our diverse backgrounds, gaining a deeper understanding of what it takes to do authentic and meaningful service actions by collaborating with each other. This year's theme, One Planet, One Chance, underscores the importance of acting now to protect the one and only home we have. The main objective is to figure out how we can plan for a sustainable future. To this end, participants will create a 'solution pitch' for a possible campaign or project that they could implement at their respective schools. A certificate of participation will be issued to all registered participants who attend the entire event on 18 April 2026.
"Aaron Moniz helps schools around the world develop whole-school implementation programs for service learning and education for sustainable development as a means of developing global citizens."
Looking Back: EXPERIENCES FROM the YOUTH SUMMIT 2024
S&S Summit 2026 'One Planet, One Chance' Goals:

Participants will create an S&S project/ problem-solving pitch for a possible campaign or project that they could implement at their respective schools to make a difference.
One Planet, One Chance: From Ideas to Action
What makes the Summit exciting?
1. Learn from Different Service and Sustainability Experiences!
During the Summit, participants will interact with each other, the main session facilitator, and the workshop providers to explore such topics of global significance as animal cruelty prevention, well-being, environmental sustainability for healthy lifestyls, education access, and empowerment through social entrepreneurship. This is a great way to build confidence, meet interesting people, and be part of something bigger than yourself.
2. We are Beginner Friendly!
We do not expect participants to have profound knowledge on Service and Sustainability and its action concepts and framework. Rather, we are here to provide opportunities for participants to be able to take the initiative, pursue their passions, and build themselves into purposeful, influential individuals. The Summit is the chance to inspire you to become that change maker! See the 'How to Create your S&S Summit Pitch' poster below.
3. There's a fun part as well!
The S&S Summit is not one of those conferences where you only sit, listen, clap. We’re also running fun and engaging activities such as an escape room where there will be collaborative challenges and creative problem-solving sessions.
4. An inclusive opportunity to make a difference.
The S&S Summit is an inclusive event for all those who are keen to learn and contribute to making a difference. There are no registration fees. Lunch and snacks are complimentary.
