The key components of our Elementary educational program:

  • A strong English language environment
  • Learning English and increasing vocabulary will not just be through learning in the classrooms as English will be incorporated into their daily lives through reading, writing, and interaction with teachers and other students
  • Qualified and professional faculty who are committed to nurturing and inspiring all students to their fullest potential
  • A constructive learning environment where curiosity and creativity is encouraged

Assessments

Student’s grade level performance and advancement from one grade in the elementary school to the next is assessed in a variety of ways. Generally, a combination of teacher observation, class work, common assessment and unit projects are used to monitor learning. Parents will receive individualized quarterly reports describing their child’s performance and academic development each school year.

Formal parent conferences will be held in the first three weeks of quarters two and four to discuss student progress. A teacher or parent may request individual conferences as necessary
