Walk the stories of the past.
The “Narrating trails", promoted by the Ellera Association, aims to transform walking into an immersive and cultural experience, where the territory becomes the protagonist through the stories that have shaped it over time. The selected trails are emblematic sites of local memory, witnesses of different eras and events, enriched with laser-engraved wooden panels that share historical anecdotes, legends, and curiosities from the past. Each panel is linked to a QR code, allowing participants to explore the story digitally via their smartphones, creating a dialogue between nature, memory, and technology.
The initiative includes inauguration walks for each trail, during which participants are guided while discovering the narratives that characterize the paths, enjoying a multisensory and educational experience. The project seeks to enhance cultural and natural heritage, stimulate curiosity, and foster active community engagement, promoting an approach to the territory based on listening, storytelling, and sharing. In this way, the trails cease to be mere physical paths and become carriers of memory and knowledge, helping to build a deeper connection between people and their environment.
