Crocheting is a rewarding activity that encourages patience, concentration, creativity,

and perseverance. Through age-appropriate projects, pupils will have the opportunity

to develop new skills while creating items they can be proud of. Pupils will begin with

simple, age-appropriate or skill level projects that allow them to practise basic

crochet techniques. These will include crochet chains and friendship bracelets,

simple bookmarks, crochet flowers and hair scrunchies. As pupils develop their

confidence and skills, they can progress to more challenging projects, such as

simple granny squares, small crochet bags and basic hats.

Skill level: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced levels
