The Instrumental and Vocal Music Programme at ISH offers students the opportunity to deepen their musical skills in a structured and inspiring environment. Lessons take place on campus, ensuring a seamless transition from the school day into musical learning.
Students can choose to develop their abilities through individual instrumental or vocal lessons, or engage collaboratively by joining a band workshop or choir. The programme supports a wide range of interests and levels, from beginners to more advanced musicians.
Families connect directly with our specialist music teachers to arrange lessons, allowing for flexibility and a personalised learning experience tailored to each student’s goals and interests.
How to apply:
To enrol, please contact the relevant instrumental teacher directly. They will provide information about teaching days and available time slots.
Enrolment and tuition fees:
The cost for a 30 minute individual lesson is 285 DKK. Students are expected to commit for the full semester. Lessons will automatically continue into the following semester unless the instrumental teacher is informed otherwise. Tuition fees follow the minimum rates set by the Dansk Musiker Forbund. For further details, families are encouraged to contact the instrumental teachers directly.
Cancellation due to illness or absence:
Lessons can be rescheduled or cancelled without charge if notice is given at least 24 hours in advance. If an instrumental teacher is ill, lessons will be rescheduled or cancelled at no cost.
Buying or hiring an instrument:
Students are expected to bring their own instrument to lessons. Instrumental teachers can advise on suitable models for purchase. If you prefer to hire an instrument, teachers can recommend local music shops. Please note that the school does not provide instrument hire.
