We are delighted to offer an after school Ceramics Club for MYP students. Whether you are completely new to ceramics or already have some experience, everyone is welcome to join.
Students will explore a variety of ceramic techniques, including hand building methods such as pinch pots, coil building, and slab work, as well as opportunities to learn how to use the pottery wheel. We will also create fun and imaginative sculpture projects and experiment with different glazing techniques.
The focus is on creativity, skill development, and enjoying the process of working with clay.
All materials and equipment are provided.
In the event that a session needs to be cancelled due to illness or school commitments, I will inform families by email as soon as possible. Unfortunately, there is no substitute teacher available for the club, but I will always keep participants updated.
Questions, ideas, and feedback are always welcome.
