Home Language Programme

At ISH, we actively encourage and support the development of students’ home languages. We recognise that maintaining and strengthening literacy in a child’s first language plays a key role in their overall linguistic development, including their acquisition of English.

To support this, we offer after school home language programmes by providing classroom space and facilitating connections with qualified teachers who lead each language group. Our aim is to make high quality home language learning accessible within the school environment.

Each class is limited to a maximum of five students to ensure a high level of individual attention and meaningful learning.

The fee is 2000 DKK per term:

Term 1: September to December
Term 2: January to May

Classes begin in the first week of September, unless otherwise specified. Days and times are agreed directly with the teacher upon registration.
