ISG CURRICULUM UPDATE
Throughout the 2025–26 school year, campus and district leaders have engaged in a review of key academic programs in alignment with ISG’s strategic priority of providing students with a well-rounded education. This work reflects our ongoing commitment to ensuring that learning experiences meet the evolving needs of our students while supporting the development of the whole child.
In our elementary and primary programs, families will see increased instructional time dedicated to Arabic language learning, including both Modern Foreign Language Arabic and Modern Standard Arabic. Additional time has also been allocated to targeted enrichment and support services, as well as Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), to better meet the diverse needs of our students.
In our secondary programs, school schedules have been further aligned across ISG to provide greater consistency and coherence. Middle school and Key Stage 3 students will continue to engage in a broad range of learning experiences, including global languages, technology, visual arts and music. These programs will continue to evolve over time in response to student needs and interests while supporting ISG’s strategic priorities and commitment to a balanced educational experience.
This work complements the recent review of ISG’s high school Advanced Programs, which included input from students, families, staff and Board members. The review affirmed the strength and value of our advanced academic pathways while identifying opportunities to further enhance program quality and awareness.
This information will be shared with parents next week.
ISG COMMUNITY
CAMPUS ACCESS & APPOINTMENTS FOR PARENTS
As we begin the new school year, I would like to remind all parents about our campus access procedures. These measures help us maintain a safe and secure environment for our students while also ensuring that our staff can focus on their responsibilities.
Campus Car Stickers
Parents should have a car sticker for every vehicle in their household that may be used to pick up students. This helps our security teams identify authorized vehicles and keep the arrival and dismissal processes running smoothly. Please contact your school to request a car sticker.
Appointments
If you would like to meet with a teacher or administrator, please contact that person and request an appointment and they will send you the campus visitor form. The morning arrival and afternoon dismissal periods are particularly busy for our teachers, who are focused on welcoming students, managing classes and supporting safe drop-off and pick-up.
We kindly ask that parents do not approach teachers during these busy periods or come to campus expecting to meet with them without an appointment. Making arrangements in advance ensures that teachers can give your questions and concerns the time and attention they deserve.
Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us keep our campuses safe, organized and welcoming for everyone.
AFTER-SCHOOL FOOTBALL WITH TEKKERS ACADEMY AT ISG CAMPUSES
We’re pleased to share that Arsenal Football Development, in partnership with Tekkers Football Academy, has returned for Term Two at the Dhahran campus (ASD, BSD), ISG Jubail and their new location at Euro Village.
Whether your child is new to football or looking to develop their skills, the program offers fun, professional sessions focused on skill development, confidence and enjoyment, with competitive games included this term.
The term is already underway, but students can join at any time. New students can also take advantage of a free taster session, and all ISG students receive 20% off.
More information can be found here
For any questions, please contact: +966 57 367 7982
We encourage interested families to take advantage of this opportunity and give their children the chance to develop their skills, build confidence and enjoy the game.
ISG’S COMMITMENT TO SAFETY
The safety and wellbeing of our students is our highest priority, and ensuring our staff are prepared to respond appropriately is an important part of that commitment.
All ISG staff are required to complete annual Child Protection training, with new staff completing this training before they begin working at ISG. This ensures that everyone understands their responsibilities and knows how to recognize, respond to and report concerns relating to student safety.
We are also arranging First Aid/HeartSaver (FAHS) training and recertification for teaching staff. Current first aid and CPR certification is a requirement for all teaching staff and is renewed on a two-year cycle.
Our initial training sessions prioritize teaching staff because of their daily proximity to students and their role in leading academic and athletic trips.
AVAILABLE POSITIONS AT ISG
We’re always pleased to welcome talented and dedicated professionals to the ISG community. As we continue to plan for this school year, we have opportunities on our teams.
If you see yourself as a good fit, please share your interest. Also, if you know of someone who may be a good fit for ISG, please share our current vacancies. Your personal expression of interest or a recommendation to others can help us connect with people who share our commitment to providing an exceptional educational experience for our students.
