PARENT ANNOUNCEMENT (34)
APRIL 30, 2026
SUPERINTENDENT’S UPDATE
Dear Parents,
Thank you for supporting our students while we were in virtual learning and through our return to on-campus learning this week. You are our partners in education. It has been a positive week.
On Sunday, we practiced a soft, classroom only, DUCKS drill. The ‘soft’ designation was used as a preliminary step for awareness and understanding with a follow-up, all-school drill planned in the coming weeks. Also planned is our practice of the Early Departure drill, which will take place before the end of an upcoming school day.
DHAHRAN CAMPUS TRAFFIC SURVEY RESPONSE
I would like to thank the many parents and staff members who took the time to complete the survey sent on February 26 regarding traffic conditions near the Dhahran campus.
We received a total 126 responses: 46 staff members, 35 students and 45 parents. Most respondents noted poor traffic conditions experienced between 7 - 8 a.m. and 3 - 4 p.m. with an average delay of 20-40 minutes, 3-4 times per week.
Respondents’ recommendations included the installation of traffic lights, developing infrastructures like ramps and overpasses, heavy vehicle restriction, creating alternate routes and lane management, police enforcement and staggering start and release times.
Please know that ISG leadership and campus leadership are aligned with our community’s concerns for the safety and wellbeing of our students, families and staff as well as the operational impact of daily delays.
While ISG does not have direct jurisdiction over public roadways, your voices matter. We are currently compiling this compelling data into a formal report to share with local traffic authorities and municipal leaders. We are fully committed to advocating on behalf of our community and collaborating with city officials to find meaningful solutions.
Thank you for your continued engagement and support.
2026 UNIVERSITY ACCEPTANCES
We are proud to share that our soon-to-be graduates from the Class of 2026 have been receiving university admissions offers from institutions around the world over the past several months. These results reflect both the students’ dedication and the strength of the academic programs across the ISG schools.
While this is not a comprehensive list, students will continue to receive decisions in the coming weeks, and we look forward to sharing further updates as more offers are confirmed.
CALL FOR ALL ISG SENIOR STUDENTS TO REGISTER ON THE ISG ALUMNI PLATFORM
Today was the last day of school for the 2026 seniors at ISG as they will continue preparations for their upcoming final exams.
We encourage all seniors to register on the ISG Alumni platform, and join the growing network of graduates and students who attended ISG.
Please remind the seniors to use their personal email accounts and not their school email accounts to register on the platform, as their school email accounts will be deactivated at the end of the summer.
STUDENTS BEGIN USING THE MPS
Students at ASD and BSD have begun using the new multipurpose space this week in their PE classes and are enjoying the new facilities. We look forward to hosting upcoming events in this new shared space.
