PARENT ANNOUNCEMENT (29)
MARCH 26, 2026
SUPERINTENDENT’S UPDATE
Dear Parents,
I want to begin by thanking you each for your ongoing support and patience as well as your engagement to provide feedback. I recognize that this situation impacts all aspects of our lives and greater perspective is valuable to inform our decision making.
I met with the Board on Wednesday afternoon and, as ISG Superintendent, I proposed to the ISG Board that we extend virtual learning on all our campuses through April 9, 2026 and the ISG Board has accepted this recommendation. More details will be shared by campus leadership teams and your child’s teacher(s) shortly to support virtual learning.
In addition, I proposed that a virtual learning approach be made available through the end of this school year for families that are not able to participate in on-campus learning when ISG resumes on-campus classes (e.g., a hybrid approach of on campus learning and virtual learning) or in the event that ISG schools are not able to return to on-campus learning before the end of the school year (e.g., virtual learning continues for all students). This recommendation was also accepted by the ISG Board.
For those families that remain in-Kingdom, we continue to seek a timely return to on-campus learning when it is safe to do so. We are working on a hybrid learning approach to accommodate both in-Kingdom and out-of-Kingdom students, and will update parents when further details are confirmed.
We appreciate your continued partnership with ISG and welcome your ongoing feedback for future decision making.
Warm wishes,
Rhonda Norris
ISG Superintendent
