SUPERINTENDENT’S UPDATE
A MESSAGE OF PROFOUND SADNESS
It is with great sadness that ISG shares the news of the passing of our colleague, Mr. Michael Schreider, Principal of ISG Dammam.
Mr. Schreider was a deeply respected educator, colleague and leader whose impact was felt across our entire community. He dedicated his life to guiding students, supporting staff and fostering a spirit of gratitude in everything he did. His cheerful presence, steady leadership and genuine care for others made our school a better place each day.
While we mourn this tremendous loss, we also recognize the lasting legacy he leaves behind. The strength of our school culture, the confidence of our students and the unity of our staff all carry his imprint. His influence will continue to shape ISG Dammam for years to come.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends and all who had the privilege of working alongside him. Mr. Schreider will be profoundly missed by every member of our school family.
VIRTUAL SCHOOL PROTOCOLS
I would like to share a friendly reminder on decisions to move to virtual school. ISG is a school licensed by the Ministry of Education (MOE), and as such, we are mandated to comply with all official MOE closure announcements for schools in the Eastern Province, as occurred this week.
Adhering to these directives is paramount to ISG retaining our licenses, as well as ensuring the health and safety of our students and staff.
While MOE announcements can sometimes come later than we would like, our established protocols allow us to quickly and effectively transition to virtual school arrangements as needed.
Thank you for your patience and your ongoing understanding and support during these times.
MPS UPDATE AND STAFF TOURS
Staff from ASD and BSD recently took part in guided tours and hands-on training sessions at the new MPS building as we prepare for its upcoming opening.
These visits gave teams the opportunity to become familiar with the new learning spaces, systems and resources, and to thoughtfully begin to plan how the building will support teaching, learning and student wellbeing from day one.
The excitement and collaboration during these sessions reflect our shared commitment to ensuring a smooth opening and a strong start for the MPS in our community.
ISG JUBAIL STUDENTS WIN GLOBAL RANKINGS IN 2025 BEAVER COMPUTING CHALLENGE
We are proud to share that 40 ISG Jubail students from Grade 4-10 took part in the 2025 Beaver Computing Challenge, an international competition led at our campus by Mrs. Preetha Nataraj and organized through the University of Waterloo.
Congratulations to four students who achieved perfect scores, to the 20 students that received certificates of distinction by placing in the top 25% globally, and sincere recognition to every student who stepped forward to take on this challenge.
I am grateful to our educators and families for their encouragement, and proud of our students for embracing opportunities that strengthen their problem-solving skills and love of learning.
AP RACE SWIMMING ACADEMY CLASSES DURING WINTER BREAK
AP Race Swimming Academy will be offering swimming classes during the winter break.
Our temperature-controlled pool ensures students remain comfortable and warm in the water, even as the weather becomes cooler, and these sessions will give students a great opportunity to develop their skills, build confidence in the water and stay active before returning to school.

LEARNING AT ISG
CLASS SPOTLIGHT ON GRADE 5 & YEAR 6 ACROSS ISG
This week, our spotlight is on Grade 5 and Year 6 across ISG.
Each week, we’re shining a spotlight on learning across ISG by featuring a different grade level from our schools. Through these weekly highlights, we’ll take you inside our classrooms to show how learning comes to life, from hands-on projects and critical thinking to collaboration and creativity.
Our goal is to celebrate our students’ curiosity and hard work while giving parents a closer look at the value of an ISG education, where every lesson, discussion and experience is designed to inspire growth, confidence and a lifelong love of learning.
