SUPERINTENDENT’S UPDATE
UPCOMING SAUDI NATIONAL DAY HOLIDAY
As we approach Saudi National Day on September 23, we invite our ISG community to take time to enjoy the festivities and reflect on the pride and progress of the Kingdom. This day is a special opportunity to honor the rich culture, heritage and vision that inspire us all.
Our campuses will continue the celebrations on September 24 to mark the occasion in meaningful and memorable ways. We encourage everyone to take part, celebrate with joy, and embrace the spirit of unity that Saudi National Day represents.
ISG LEADERSHIP VISIT TO THE ROYAL COMMISSION FOR JUBAIL AND YANBU
ISG leadership recently visited the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu to meet with their leadership team.
The Royal Commission has been a long-standing and valued partner of ISG, and together we continue to build a strong relationship for the future.
During the visit, it was inspiring to learn more about the advancements and development taking place within the Royal Commission.
We are grateful for their continued support, especially their deep appreciation for ISG Jubail and their strong commitment to the importance of education in our community.
SUPERINTENDENT STUDENT ADVISORY COUNCIL MEETING
The Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council hosted its first meeting on September 15th in which over 30 students from all ISG campuses attended.
The purpose of this committee is to act as a liaison between students and ISG leaders, advocate for students to inform decision making, and advise based on student input in order to improve student experiences for every learner.
Through discussions and engaging activities, council members gained a deeper understanding of their leadership responsibilities and how these apply to their role on the Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council. Students engaged in an activity in which ISG’s core values were aligned with the leadership and advisory responsibilities of the SSAC.
A major outcome of this meeting was the launch of the Student Pulse Check Survey that will be widely distributed across all campuses in order to collect student feedback on an ongoing basis. The SSAC will be responsible for analyzing the feedback, identifying trends, providing recommendations, deciding who the information needs to be shared with and following up on actions taken.
REMINDER: UPCOMING PARENT ENGAGEMENT PROGRAM (PEP) SESSION:
THE ISG BUDGET PROCESS - VIRTUAL
I am pleased to share the next session in our Parent Engagement Program: The ISG Budget Process.
A survey will be shared next week to collect your questions about the ISG budget.
This session will be recorded and shared with our ISG community in early October. The focus for this video will be sharing how the ISG budget is aligned with the feedback, questions or ideas from the upcoming survey.
We look forward to continuing our partnership with parents through these opportunities in terms of transparency and understanding around the financial resources that support our students’ learning and growth.
LEARNING AT ISG
ISG STAFF CPR TRAINING
At ISG, the wellbeing and safety of our students is always at the heart of our work. This month, members of our staff are engaging in CPR and First Aid training, important skills that not only strengthen our preparedness on campus but also extend our care and responsibility beyond school grounds.
By investing time in this vital training, our staff are reinforcing their commitment to protecting and supporting our students in every situation. This learning reflects our ISG Strategic Priority of Wellbeing and Belonging, ensuring that every member of our community feels safe, cared for and valued.
ISG COMMUNITY
TEKKERS FOOTBALL ACADEMY
We are excited to announce a new opportunity for all ISG students through our partnership with Tekkers Football Academy. Beginning this term, Tekkers will be offering training sessions on the Dhahran (ASD and BSD) and ISG Jubail campuses.
This is a wonderful chance for students to build their skills, stay active and enjoy the game within our school community.
Click here for full schedules and details on how to register.
REMINDER: KEEP YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION UPDATED
In order to ensure families have valuable and timely information, please ensure that your personal contact information, including phone numbers, email addresses and emergency contacts, is up to date with ISG. Having accurate information allows us to communicate with you effectively and reach out to you timely for your children in the event of an emergency.
With the change to using personal email addresses as of August 1, you may need to provide contact updates to ISG. If so, please make any updates by reaching out to the campus office for your child at your earliest convenience.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support.

SVS Partners with Junior Dukes to Build Life Skills
We are excited to share that SVS has partnered with Junior Dukes to offer students and parents a fantastic opportunity to recognize and reward the development of practical life skills at home and in the community.
Each year, students receive a Junior Duke booklet filled with age-appropriate challenges, from learning how to get ready independently, to cooking, first aid, trip planning, and even caring for others. These activities encourage responsibility, independence and compassion while giving children the chance to reflect on their learning and celebrate their achievements.
Upon completion, students earn a special badge and certificate in assembly. Participation is optional, but last year this program proved extremely popular with our families, and we are delighted to see how our students will rise to the challenges this year.
