Vinnie Ding | Flute

Vinnie Ding is a professional flute player from China. She earned a BMus (Hons) Flute and MFA in Flute from the China Conservatory in Beijing.

Vinnie has over fourteen years of teaching experience. For six years, she taught flute full-time at Dulwich College Beijing. She taught for three years at the Hong Kong Flute Academy and has over ten years of experience as a private tutor, teaching individual and group lessons in flute, piccolo, bamboo flute and recorder. Her teaching also includes flute ensemble classes and chamber music coaching. Currently, she teaches at several international schools in Hong Kong teaching through English and Mandarin. In addition to teaching, Vinnie currently holds the position of Principal Flutist with the Greater Bay Philharmonic Orchestra. She has collaborated with conductor Nancy Li in this role since 2018, performing for orchestra concerts and charitable events in Hong Kong. Furthermore, Vinnie has performance experience with the Beijing Wind Orchestra.

丁元（Vinnie）畢業於中國音樂學院，獲得了音樂學士學位（長笛演奏專業）和音樂藝術碩士學位（長笛演奏專業）。

Vinnie擁有超過十三年的教學經驗。在北京德威英國國際學校，她全職教授長笛有六年之久。她在香港長笛藝術學院教授了三年，並且在長笛、短笛、竹笛和直笛方面擁有超過十年的私人教學經驗，包括個別教學和小組課程。她的教學還包括長笛合奏課程和室內樂指導。目前，她在香港的幾所國際學校教授課程，使用英語和普通話進行教學。（香港弘立書院、英皇佐治五世學校、九龍小學）。

除了教學，Vinnie目前還擔任大灣區管弦樂團的首席長笛手。自2018年以來，她與指揮家李楠一起合作在香港進行樂團演出和慈善表演活動。此外，Vinnie還有與北京管樂交響樂團的演出經驗。
