MP 4 – DP 2: TI-Nspire CX (non-CAS) is our preferred calculator. New students who do not have a graphing calculator should purchase this one. Students who already have the TI84 plus or the TI84 Plus CE-T may continue to use it, but instruction will be given using the TI-Nspire.
Further, diploma students should check that the calculator meets the examination regulations – for example calculators must have a graphical capability for all mathematics courses, and must not have a computer algebra capability. Therefore the IT-Nspire-CAS cannot be used in examinations.
