Coach Casterton has been coaching football for thirteen years with the past eleven years for the Hubmen. Currently, Coach Casterton is the Special Teams Coordinator and coaches the running backs for the Hubmen, he has served in that role for the past two years. In his time with the Hubmen, Coach Casterton has served as the Defensive Coordinator for three years, the Offensive Coordinator for two years, and has coached the offensive and defensive lines. Prior to coming to Jordan, he coached for Bloomington Jefferson for two years as a freshman football coach. In addition to coaching football in Jordan, Coach Casterton is a Math Teacher at Jordan High School and coached girls basketball for eight years for the Jordan Jaguars.

Coach Casterton grew up in Northeast Iowa on a family farm and is a graduate of Decorah High School in Decorah, IA. After high school he went on to Winona State University in Winona, MN, where he graduated with a degree Secondary Mathematics Education with a minor in Coaching. While at Winona State, he worked for the football program for five years on teams that won three NSIC Conference Championships. For ten years, Coach Casterton served as a guest coach at Winona State Football Team Camps in the summers, working with area college coaches and coaching high school players from Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin and Illinois. Coach Casterton recently completed his Master’s Degree through St. Mary’s of Minnesota in Learning Design and Technology.

Coach Casterton is married to his wife Laura for five years and they have two children Caroline (3) and James (5 months). In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family.
