Hello,my name is Evan the jack pine and I have root rot.I got this this disease from a fungus called Armillaria .This disease makes me lose my needles and weakens my root system. When it weakens my root system its hard to get water and nutrients to all parts of me.When I can't get water and nutrients all around, my needles at the top of my crown start turning yellow! It also slows down my growth, but it can be stopped by the help of some fungicidal drenches or sprays.I hope someone can cure me soon.
Here is a birds view
I can grow in a wide range of soil types from dry, sandy soil to clay loams.
It is the best when it rains once a week and the rest is sunny.
There was a controlled fire and that's how I got free of my casing.
Then I got buried in the dirt and the rain kept me healthy until I was ready to spout.
I am 4 feet in diameter, 66 feet tall, and my crown is 17 feet.
