Want to liven up your holiday season with magic and surprise? Come see the Nutcracker Suite: A Duluth Tale, put on by the Minnesota Ballet at the DECC! With a fresh new spin on the old holiday favorite, this is perfect for anyone who wants to be entertained this winter! It all starts with Clara at the train station with her brother Fritz, the travelers and their families, and the newsboys. The mysterious toy maker, magician, and traveler Drosselmeyer opens his train car and surprises kids and adults alike with his magical tricks and toys. The kids think that it couldn’t get any better, but it does. Drosselmeyer pulls a magical Nutcracker from his train car and gives it to Clara. When the doors close to the shop the kids go outside and have an epic snowball fight! The next morning, they go inside to see more of Droselmyer’s delights and other travelers perform. Performances are the tenth, eleventh, and twelfth of December.
