It is important that it is kept clean and healthy for everyone in the community. Not only this but it is also a great gift that more people should be using. Our objectives as stewards of the Sand Hill Watershed district is to make it a cleaner, safer, and easily accessible place for the community to enjoy. Specifically by improving roads accessing the river, keeping boat ramps and surrounding areas well kept, and supporting the favorite activities in our watershed. As a response to our survey question “What type of recreational activities do you have?” We have concluded the local favorites are: kayaking, fishing, and swimming.
