Entries: Work does not need to be original. Commercially manufactured items will be permitted. All items must be appropriate for display in a public school.
Food Vendors: If you prepare and sell homemade food, you must post a sign that states: “These products are homemade and not subject to state inspection.” Also, please label your food products with your name and address.
Spaces: Vendors who participated in the 2022 craft fair will receive the same space assignment in 2023. If you wish to change, please indicate that on your registration. Your 2022 space will be held for you until Nov. 3, 2023, If you have not registered by Nov. 3, 2023, your space will be reassigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
Display: Vendors will provide their own table and chair, and grounded, (three-prong) extension cord, if electricity is used. Tables must be covered to the floor on the front side. The assigned area must be neat at all times. All storage containers must be kept out of public view after setting up. Please only two people per booth.
Set-up Hours: Set up time will be Friday, Dec. 1 from 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm. Absolutely, no early arrivals please; athletics will use the school until 5:30 pm. The school will reopen at 7 am on Saturday, December 2 for vendors. Displays should be ready by 9 am.
Craft Fair Hours: 9 am – 3 pm. Lunch is available at the school.
Registration: Registration preferred by mail, but online registrations will also be accepted (see link below). Contact the Community Education office for a paper form, which should then be mailed to Battle Lake School, 402 W. Summit, Battle Lake, MN 56515. Registrations may also be e-mailed to communityed@isd542.org. Payment must accompany registration. Payment can be made by credit card on the school website by clicking here. Or checks may be mailed to the above address and made payable to Battle Lake Public School. Registrations are not accepted by phone. Battle Lake School cannot take credit card payments by phone.
