Student Government will be working hard to re-invent creative ways to engage students in school spirit of Mayo High School during distance learning, and be ready for a welcome back event when the time comes. 

We, the students of Mayo High School, in order to promote the spirit of the student body, to provide unity between the students and the faculty in curricular and co-curricular activities, to uphold the good name and reputation of our school, to develop character throughout the planning and accepting of responsibilities, and to participate in projects for the student body do hereby establish this constitution. 

Among the many responsibilities of Student Government leaders, the group is also responsible for planning and hosting the activities for Homecoming, GOFA, and Spring Fling.

Meetings take place every Wednesday morning at 7:40 in room 2-305. They are open to everyone.

How to join: Students can join by being elected to an office. Students are sent information about elections for class officers and representatives; Freshmen elections are held in the fall, while sophomores, juniors, and seniors are elected in the spring.
