Southtown Singers

The Southtown Singers are Mayo’s Pop Vocal Ensemble. We sing a variety of pop music and vocal jazz, both accompanied and acappella. The Southtown Singers perform at the three main Mayo High School Choir Concerts. Additionally, they have their own Concert in early spring, which is sometimes combined with jazz band or another guest ensemble.

We rehearse after school 2-3 times per week (usually Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3:45pm to 5:00pm) A specific schedule is established with the members after auditions are held.

How to join: Auditions are held in the fall. Any student involved in choir, band or orchestra may audition for the ensemble.
