The Ski Club is not to be confused with Mayo's competitive team of Alpine Skiing. In this club, people who like to ski get together and travel to Welch Village Ski Resort on Friday nights to have some fun in the snow. This normally takes place in January and February from 3:45 to 11:00 pm. The bus leaves on Fridays at 3:45 near door 3, and will return between 10:30 and 11:00.

All skill and ability levels are welcome to attend.

How to join: Sign up is through Community Ed and runs through October-Mid December. Signing up through Community Ed allows you to ride the coach bus to and from Welch each week with chaperones. Ski rental is available through Community Ed for an additional cost.

Students must purchase their own lift ticket through Welch. The Ski Club runs 6 Friday nights starting in January.
