Knowledge Bowl
Knowledge Bowl is a team-based academic quiz competition in which Mayo scholars study content across all curricular areas to compete against teams from other schools across the state. The team normally has three round-robin-style competitions, a two-day state meet trip, and an all-day sub-regional competition that goes to regional for teams that qualify.
Knowledge Bowl is run by District Service Cooperatives.
The practices are Tuesdays and either Wednesdays or Thursdays after school from 3:35 to 4:25.
Advice from members: "Knowledge Bowl can be difficult for freshmen first getting into it, but as you experience more of our curriculum, the questions get easier."
How to join: Any and all students interested are welcome to practice, but those who want to compete must pay an activity fee to cover the costs of competition. Complete the sign-up form on this page to be able to connect with this group.
Student Leadership: There are unofficial captain positions, currently held by Tanmay Iyer and Quinn Kallmes.
