HOPE Club stands for the Health Organization for the Purpose of Education. It is a health outreach, advocacy club which focuses on creating events and helping the Mayo Spartan family to be healthy and make positive contributions to the community.

Some of the events this club hosts when we are not under COVID-19 restrictions are HOPE week (to raise awareness for health-related causes), Safe Driving Week (to instill the importance of safe driving decisions before prom), and several blood drives that last two days (to promote the Mayo Clinic Blood Donor mobile unit and increase concern for blood shortage in our community). However, this year, due to the pandemic, the number and type of events the group will engage in has yet to be determined.

One event that the members always look forward to is, "a fun-filled week in the spring, called HOPE week, where we focus on health-related topics each day and a fundraiser will co-occur."

This year, HOPE Club is going to be focusing on mental health advocacy in addition to physical health advocacy.
