Members of Mayo's Hiking Club go on fun hikes around Southeast Minnesota, where they explore nature in an exciting and healthy way. It is a great way to spend time with friends or make new ones. They encourage wildlife photography, plant and animal identification, and learning about environmentalism. Some places the club goes to are Quarry Hill, Bear Creek, and an end-of-year excursion to Whitewater State Park.

Meetings are held every Monday in room 2-222 after school (3:30-4:30). Hikes can be any day of the week but are usually Thursdays, Fridays or Saturdays about every other week.

How to join: Students may contact Ms. Vik, Gavin Lyons, or Ava Hill to join. Other ways to join include scanning the QR code on posters around the school to join our Google Classroom. You can also just pop in on Monday meetings, and we can give you the Classroom code.  ncfq3qy
