The Mayo High School Equity Team is an organization and club with the purpose of improving the diversity, inclusivity, and integration of Mayo High School and the culture of its student body. The aforementioned positive change may be enacted through school programs, student involvement, events, and other activities. We hold discussions, presentations, and activities ranging from topics such as equity, gender rights, black history, lgbtq+ rights, tolerance, privilege, and more!
The Equity Team is responsible for hosting many great events, including Hispanic Heritage month, the Hispanic Heritage Festival, Culture Day, and Culture Night.
Meetings are held every other Friday in the Mohlke Center: 8:20am-7:45am.
