What is it?

During the month of October, our school will be collecting NEW socks, hats, and gloves to help those in need as the weather turns cold. To make it even more fun, this will be a competition between the Royal Hours—each group will work together to bring in the most items. All donations will go toward supporting our community, and the Royal Hour with the highest total will earn an ice cream party with all the fixings! Let’s show our school spirit and generosity by making this Socktober drive a huge success!

Scoring

Socks – 1 point
Hats – 1 point
Gloves – 1 point

Bonus Points

Sets (1 Hat + 1 Pair of Gloves + 1 Pair of Socks) = 5 points
Cash Donations – $3 = 1 point

✨ Prizes! ✨

The winning Royal Hour at the end of each week will get a prize. The Royal Hour that donates the greatest amount on average will get an ice cream party with all of the fixings!

For every item donated, your royal hour will also receive a vote toward which teacher will receive a pie to the face.

If the school reaches 1,000 donations, all of the willing teachers will receive a pie to the face!

Decorated Donation Boxes

Each Royal Hour class is encouraged to design and decorate a box to collect donations. The Royal Hour with the most creative and impactful box will earn an extra 10 points! Email a picture of your donation box to Mrs. Noerenberg by the end of the day on 10/14.

Socktober 2025

A massive thank you to everyone who supported Socktober 2025! We collected 589 socks, hats, and gloves, just shy of our 1,000-item goal. This incredible haul is being donated to the Care Closet and a local homeless shelter to keep people warm this winter.

Also, congratulations to Mr. Ebnet's royal hour, who received an ice cream party for donating the most items! And the best part? Thanks to your many "votes," Mr. Swenson was the lucky recipient of a pie to the face!
