Feel Free to use these online resources during Wild Days.
Fitness challenge 1:
Complete two workouts using the (At Home Activities) chart provided. Each workout should consist of 5 exercises from the chart.
Fitness Challenge 2:
Use the video links provided to perform the guided exercises. Choose three out of the six videos twice a week to complete your exercise challenge.
Go to the Go Noodle website (www.gonoodle.com) to find more guided exercise/dance videos.
Fitness challenge 3:
Complete 3 fitness videos twice a week.
Choose from Kidz Bop (Guided Dance), Cosmic Kids Yoga, or Star Wars workouts.
Fitness Challenge 4:
Complete 3 physical education instructional videos twice a week.
If equipment is not available in your home it is your option to use other fitness videos provided on my resource page or visit: https://www.primecoachingsport.com/teaching-videos to select from more instructional videos.
Fitness Challenge 5:
Bike anywhere week.
Bike Anywhere Challenge options:
Complete the bike crossword, or word search, or enter the poster contest
Complete the bike mileage tracker for the week, or complete the Bike Bingo Card, or bike anywhere sometime during this week and email me (carl.ekern@isd300.k12.mn.us) a photo of your trip. Emailed photos will be put in a slide show gallery to be posted on the school's website.

Fitness Challenge 6:
Games Week
Option 1: Play 2-3 of the games from the 8 game videos below with your family twice a week.
Option 2: Invent your own games or fitness workout, and remember to be safe.
Sock Shooting Challenge:
Feel free replace the squat exercise with jumping jacks, push ups, or any other exercise of your choosing.

Mousetrap Rolling:
Feel free to use rolled up socks or any type of soft sports ball.
Balloon Challenges: be aware if your child has latex allergies and choose a different video.

Option 2: Complete one of the past fitness challenges.
Fitness Challenge 8:
Visit my outdoor page: Mr. Ekern Outdoors and pick topics you would like to learn about. Then try to apply what you learned by getting out and fishing, hiking, or biking.
Option 2: Photo Contest: Email me a picture of you hiking, biking, fishing or participating in any outdoor activity. Students that submit photos will be in a slide show that will be posted on my web page. Any photo taken during the distance learning time frame will qualify.
