Student Health Services

Welcome to the Health Office at Plainview-Elgin-Millville Schools!

Our goal is to ensure that school is a safe/healthy place to learn for our staff and student. From immunizations to scraped knees and everything in between, the school nurses are here every day for your student!

Between myself, and part-time nurses Jean Lyons and Emily O'Brien, some one is always on site at your child's school building to care for them.

The best way to reach me is through email @ awalbruch@isd2899.k12.mn.us or call the Plainview office @ 507-534-1805 and leave me a message. I look forward to getting to know you!

A little about myself :

I graduated from Montana State University with my BSN in 2004 and took my first nursing job at Mayo Clinic in the cardiac/critical care area. Three years later we moved to North Carolina where I enjoyed critical care nursing for eight more years. My family moved to Plainview in 2017 and I was completely thrilled to accept the position of licensed school nurse at Plainview-Elgin-Millville in 2020.

My husband Nate and I live in Elgin with our six children who keep life exciting.

"Children are NOT a distraction from more important work.

They are THE MOST important work."
